Epiphany in painting

Today we are celebrating Epiphany also known as Three Kings’ Day. In Western Christianity, the feast commemorates principally (but not solely) the visit of the Magi to the Christ child, and thus Jesus’ physical manifestation to the Gentiles. It was an extremely popular subject in classic art, so, let’s look at some outstanding paintings by different authors.
